Symposium – UQAM’s Departement of Psychology 2026 Research Day
The Chair was well represented at the annual Research Day of UQAM’s Department of Psychology, which took place on Wednesday, March 25.
This year, the Department chose “Life Transitions” as the theme of the day. Fully aligned with the Chair’s areas of focus, this theme offered an excellent opportunity to showcase the Chair’s expertise and highlight its ongoing work. 💡
As part of a symposium titled “Promoting Well-being During School and Post-School Transitions: An Overview of the Chair’s Work,” we were pleased to welcome four members of the Chair for presentations that were both engaging and insightful :
- Isabelle Plante, professor in the Department of Didactics, UQAM
- Thérèse Bouffard, professor in the Department of Psychology, UQAM
- Laetitia Gendron, doctoral candidate in psychology, UQAM
- Charles-Étienne White-Gosselin, postdoctoral researcher, CHUM Research Center
👏🏻 We would also like to acknowledge the presence of Véronique Dupéré, Professor at the Université de Montréal and a research member of the Chair, whose contribution as a main guest speaker brought remarkable insight and momentum to the day. In a compelling one‑hour lecture, Professor Dupéré explored key challenges surrounding the transition to adulthood and shared findings from her team’s ongoing research.
We would like to thank the organizing committee for this wonderful day and extend our congratulations to all presenters.💫
